Know where a pasted link goes
This site runs its interface in your browser and does not require an account. To resolve a public post, the browser sends the post identifier to third-party public lookup services. When a direct media fetch is blocked by cross-origin browser rules, a CORS relay may be attempted. Those providers can receive ordinary request information such as IP address, timestamp, and the requested resource.
Read the current Privacy Policy for the named service categories and advertising behavior. “Client-side” means the site does not operate its own download database; it does not mean a network lookup happens without contacting anyone.
Public is not private—and public is not permission
The downloader is designed for publicly accessible post URLs. It does not log into private accounts or bypass access controls. The detailed private-post explanation covers why responsible tools reject those requests.
A public post can still contain personal, sensitive, or copyrighted material. Visibility does not grant a universal right to redistribute. Prefer linking to the original post when context and creator control matter.
Minimize unnecessary exposure
Use the original public link, avoid pasting private messages or tracking-heavy copied text, and close result tabs when finished. Do not install unknown extensions or upload media to unrelated converters unless the task requires them. Keep sensitive downloads out of automatically synchronized folders when local policy requires that.
Advertising choices
Advertising keeps the service available, but eligible visitors can make the consent choice shown by the site before advertising frames load. Declining advertising should not disable the downloader. Browser blockers or strict privacy controls can also prevent ad inventory from loading without creating empty content gaps.
Store and share with care
Keep only the files needed for your permitted purpose. Preserve original links and permission notes for client or team work. If you repurpose your own media across platforms, the creator workflow guide offers a rights-aware process.
If you are unsure
Ask the creator, use an official download supplied by the rights holder, or link instead of reuploading. Review the Disclaimer and Terms for the service boundaries.
