The service is designed to inspect media made available for public X or Twitter status URLs. It does not authorize access to private accounts, direct messages, deleted posts, restricted content, or systems you are not permitted to use.
Your responsibility for media
You are responsible for determining whether you may download, retain, edit, publish, distribute, or otherwise use a file. Public visibility does not eliminate copyright, privacy, publicity, contractual, or platform restrictions. Obtain permission when required and preserve attribution or context where appropriate.
Prohibited conduct
Do not use the service to violate law, bypass access controls, harass people, collect private information, distribute malware, overload public lookup providers, misrepresent ownership, remove legitimate creator marks, or operate automated bulk scraping. Do not submit credentials, cookies, tokens, or private-message content.
Third-party services
Public lookups, media delivery, relay services, advertising, hosting, and external links are operated by third parties. Their availability and policies can change. TwitterGifDownloader does not control or guarantee those systems.
No guarantee
The service is provided as available without a promise that every public post, format, quality, browser, or region will work. Media can be removed or restricted, and public service responses can change without notice.
Liability and changes
To the extent permitted by law, the service owners are not liable for unauthorized media use, lost files, third-party interruption, or indirect damage arising from use. We may update or discontinue features and revise these terms. Continued use after a published revision indicates acceptance where permitted by law.
